Process/Concept:

This project was created with the concept of how acclimated children and people in general are to love animals. However, cultures all around the world force people to separate their feelings of love for animals while eating them. I thought it would be chilling and disturbing to take a photograph of a young innocent girl holding a cheeseburger in front of these beautiful creatures. It still amazes me that the cows looked right at the camera and came right up to the gate where my subject was. This is still one of my favorite photos I have ever taken, and I still think it gives you such an unsettled feeling.
